Promenade des Anglais
The Promenade des Anglais is a promenade that runs along the Mediterranean in Nice. Grab a lounge chair on the pebble beach and enjoy a lazy Sunday. In the evening, take a romantic walk beneath the palm fronds.
Musee National Marc Chagall
The Chagall Museum is dedicated to the life and paintings of Marc Chagall. It houses seventeen pieces of work, all illustrating the biblical message with a focus on the books of Genesis, Exodus, and the Song of Songs. If you’re into art, this is a place that you don’t want to pass up as it’s one of the largest collections of Chagall’s work in the entire world. The Castle Park, or Parc du Chateau, is the highest point in all of Nice. It’s one of the top tourist attractions in Nice, providing panoramic views of the entire city, with tiled roofs cascading towards the waters of the Mediterranean. Also known as Castle Park, there is a charming waterfall, ruins of the former city castle and access to the nearby cemetery, full of ancient monuments. There’s a mini-train that can help you get up the mountain if climbing isn’t your thing.
